Lupranate T80 toluene diisocyanate (TDI) is an 80% - 20% mixture of the 2,4 and 2,6 isomers of toluene diisocyanate. This product is used in the preparation of polyurethane foams, prepolymers and elastomers. TDI is stable but might cause uncontrollable polymerization and rapid evolution of heat from the product type so it is recommended to take precautions against the certification.

Store under a dry air (-20°C dew point) or dry nitrogen blanket to exclude moisture. The most favorable storage temperature for Lupranate T80 is between 15.6°C and 35°C. Storage above 35ðC for extended periods may cause a change in product quality. Below 15.6°C Lupranate T80 may begin to freeze. If freezing or partial freezing occurs slowly heat the product to 15.6 - 35°C to reliquify. The product must be thoroughly mixed before using to ensure uniform isomer distribution and reactivity.
